Zadar Sunset

If you spend any time in Zadar, on Croatia‘s Dalmatian coast, locals will proudly tell you that, when staying there in 1964, Alfred Hitchcock claimed that Zadar’s sunset was the world’s most beautiful. Well, I don’t know if he was much of an authority on sunsets, but certainly there were hundreds of sun worshippers taking photos of it every night – including me!

Two earlier blog posts are of sunsets in: Istanbul, and Wadi Rum, Jordan.

There is something special when you (I mean me) randomly open a blog because I see a link, or a comment and than read something from Croatia. I gasp. 🙂 Zadar is in my top five destination to go to summer in my country. I always love to see and read how tourists and travelers make impressions and explore my country. Lovely photo btw, hope you had taken one of the “sea organ” and “the blue sun”. 🙂

Thanks! My husband and I loved Zadar and your country generally, and will have to go back sometime. And yes we took photos down by the sea organ and the sun salutation. I’ll have to look back through my photos because I took some neat images one night that there was tango dancing on top of the sun salutation! 🙂

That sounds awesome… Please do let me know when you post them, I will be happy to see it. 🙂 I live in capital city, but I love nature so that is mostly what I photograph, if you want you can check it out in my “Photography” category.
